PUMA India has welcomed Bollywood actor and entrepreneur Anushka Sharma to its team as their new brand ambassador. As part of PUMA’s long-standing dedication to women in India, Anushka has been chosen as the newest brand ambassador.
This year, the actor will be featured in a variety of activities and campaigns to promote the brand’s footwear, apparel, and accessories including select collections.
With enthusiasm, Abhishek Ganguly – MD of PUMA India and Southeast Asia – shared:

Within two days, PUMA onboarded Anushka through a lighthearted social media exchange. To mark the campaign’s End Of Season Sales (EOSS), PUMA had posted pictures of the actor wearing their items on its platform.
Anushka took to her social media account and asked PUMA to properly acknowledge her, instead of using her image without making arrangements or onboarding her as their brand ambassador.
PUMA responded with an image to confirm a new partnership proposal. Anushka eagerly agreed and finalized the agreement at PUMA’s Linking Road store.
To reveal the news to everyone, she hopped into a convertible car adorned with the PUMA cat mascot and drove off proudly displaying a sign that read ‘Just Said Yes’.
The back-and-forth between the actor and PUMA India on social media was deliberately orchestrated.
The actor is now part of the elite PUMA family, which features iconic personalities such as Virat Kohli, MC Mary Kom, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Yuvraj Singh. Recently Harrdy Sandhu has also joined this illustrious squad.
