Royal Enfield has just released three new color options for its popular Himalayan adventure motorcycle. The updated motorcycle now comes in Glacier Blue, Dune Brown, and Sleet Black color shades.
At the 2022 Rider Mania in Goa, Royal Enfield revealed three new color schemes for its Himalayan model. There have been rumors circulating for months that the motorcycle would be getting a makeover, and at Royal Enfield’s biggest event of the year, those rumors were finally put to rest. The reimagined Himalayan was met with rave reviews from attendees.
Launching new color options can be understood as a marketing strategy that Royal Enfield adopted to tap into a larger customer base. It also applies to those who have already bought the motorcycle and would like to switch up its look with new color options.
The buyer has the option to choose from a total of six colors for the Himalayan: Glacier Blue (New), Sleet Black (New), Dune Brown (New), Gravel Grey, Pine Green, and Granite Black. These are all listed on the Royal Enfield official website. The new colors and other updates to the Himalayan are sure to make it even more popular, especially amongst adventure riders who are looking for a reliable, lightweight, and easy-to-handle machine.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan currently has a starting price of ₹2.52 lakh (ex-showroom). The cost of the motorcycles varies depending on color and model but goes up to no more than ₹2.61 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorbike is powered by a 411 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that boasts 24.3 hp and 32Nm torque output. It comes with a 5-speed gearbox for an easy ride every time.
As of 2021, Royal Enfield Himalayan is available in three colors: Granite Black, Mirage Silver, and Pine Green. However, the company has discontinued the production of Rock Red, Lake Blue, and Gravel Grey. The only cosmetic and mechanical upgrades in the Himalayan line-up are the introductions of three new colors.
From November 18-20, the 2022 Rider Mania will take place over three days. At this event, bike lovers can admire a wide range of things related to motorcycles, from the all-new Super Meteor 650 (which premiers in India at this event) to handcrafted 1:3 Classic 500 scale models.
This move from Royal Enfield is sure to excite buyers and adventure lovers alike, who can now enjoy their rides with even more style. The three new color options give the Himalayan looks that are both stylish and adventurous – perfect for a bike that’s designed to take you off-road. The updated model will surely be welcomed by many customers looking for an upgraded experience.
With three new colors added to its portfolio, it reinforces its commitment to offering superior products with great features at an affordable price point. Stay tuned as we bring you more updates on Royal Enfield’s upcoming products.
